Depending on the water quality of your incoming water supply, once a year is normally the case. We offer annual reminders with the option of DIY or in-home service.
It should be changed annually because after 365 days, the intensity level it delivers starts to diminish. You can’t be assured protection from unwanted pathogens at this point. Newer systems will provide an alarm when a change is due or we can provide an annual reminder and service for you.
Bypass the system to stop the water from passing through by either turning the dials or pushing in the plunger at the back of your system. Unplug the unit and call to arrange a service call.
